OBSERVATIONS

Plant Growth:

• Leaves have started to turn yellow

Daphnia:

• 1 spotted

Condensation:

• A little less than last week

Water Quality:

• Even murkier

Elodea:

• Really healthy
• Grown bigger and greener
• We spotted a root floating by the elodea

Snail:

• We now spotted 4 or 5 new snails! YAY!

September 23, 2013

Plant growth:

• three stalks
• more shells
• leaves at the top

Daphnia: 

• spotted two

Water Quality:

• Murkier

Elodea:

• Looks healthy

Snail:

• Sticking to bottom by rocks
• Possibly two baby snails

   ----could it be a baby snail? Tune in next week!

Condensation:

• Seems the same
• Heaviest on top

Soil:

• Moist

DAY TWO

Plant Growth

• Two plants touching the top of the bottle
• One plant sprouting
• Leaves are at the top of the plant

Daphnia

• Spotted two floating around

Water Quality

• A little murky
• Small particles floating around

Elodea

• Partially floating
• Look healthy

Snail

• Stuck to the string
• Alive

Soil

• Moist
• Spotted something white on top of soil- from the bean

Condensation

• Covering all, but heaviest at the top

DAY ONE

September 9, 2013

• Clear water
• Snail is located at the bottom
• Elodea floating at top of water
• Soil is moist with 4 seeds planted within
• Daphnia found floating around near the bottom
